With over 57 years of experience with our Master Gunsmith and Weaponry Designer, Mr. Corey B. James (a.k.a. CBJ), and with a team -cumulative 180+ years (with the rest of our team), we are here to build the best weaponry available anywhere on Planet Earth. We build to your specifications, needs, dreams & desires. Our experience is available to ensure you get exactly what you desire in a custom rifle with no-compromise builds.

We have proven our abilities to deliver since 1996, and remain unchallenged in quality, accuracy, reliability, functionality, balance and performance.

CBJ began at a very early age with his interest in weaponry at the age of 5.

Now in his mid-50's, he is driven to build his pure passion into every build... from his many years of hunting, and shooting experiences he gives to the customer extreme "value-added" benefits from his many years of experience. At the range and in the field where it really counts, not just on specification sheets, steel and paper targets but on game with valuable customer references, recommendations and pictures to prove it!

CBJ is a retired US Veteran from the United States Air Force, 1985-1991, Carswell AFB, Texas. CBJ is a pioneer in wildcat designs, & custom one-up rifles built upon the Mauser M93, M96, M98 and Springfield Military Actions. This vision eventually grew into the customization of Weatherby, Remington, Ruger, Winchester, Browning, Savage Arms, and Thompson Center Arms weaponry.

These fine weapons factory rifles modified, and upgraded or one-up customs over the years have grown now into the ultimate in Long Range Hunting, and Long Range Tactical Response, Professional Grade and Sniper-Grade weaponry made produced.

Bayou Advanced Weapon Systems, LLC builds no compromise weapons in any level conceivable in your dreams... that we build just for you. Tactical to Traditional, we build them as if they were for Family... which in fact you become when we build for you.

Customize, Accurize or provide custom actions and barrels we do it all. Many of these customizations also evolved into what is now the extreme custom offerings with our own custom actions. Gain-Twist barrels, optics mounting systems, triggers and action bedding solutions consisting of both Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Pillar bedded stocks in exotic woods or laminates to completely control the level of quality and performance expectations demanded by CBJ. A variety of Chassis-based solutions we use in our Tactical Response and ELR Weapons are available upon request only limited to your imagination. We can built a full-out tactical or long range ELR-Grade Weapon to the largest of BIG BORE Safari-Grade Weaponry you can dream of.
